Interstate 35 southbound remains closed at the U.S. 30 interchange in Ames. Southbound traffic is being detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound to U.S. 69 southbound through Huxley. Traffic can then connect again to Interstate 35 via Iowa 210 eastbound.

Interstate 35 traffic northbound near the same location remains delayed because of multiple vehicle crashes.
