U.S. 59 Closed in the town of Cherokee. - Issued 8:01 PM

Closed to traffic on US 59 in both directions on the south side of Cherokee due to flooding of the Little Sioux River.  Unknown to length of closure at this time.  Established detour is south on US 59 to IA 3 east to C43/S Ave south to Linden St. west back on to US 59.  Use caution and expect some delays.
