Traffic Backed Up Miles I-35/80 in Des Moines - Issued 7:52 AM

A multi-vehicle collision has caused traffic on Interstate 35/80 westbound to back up at least five miles on the route.  The right lane is open, however because of the marked congestion, motorists are urged to use an alternate route to reach their destination.  Delay times due to this crash are significant.
