Flooding Closes Iowa 16 in Lee County - Issued 1:43 PM

Localized flooding has closed Iowa Highway 16 in both directions around 10 miles north of Donnellson.  Water is crossing the highway at mile marker 45, making the route impassible.  There is no detour in place, so please use an alternate route.  Stay alert in this area as there will be flaggers there warning motorists.
