Lane Closure Backing Up Traffic I-235 in West Des Moines - Issued 7:47 AM

A vehicle crash has closed a lane and is causing traffic to back up on Interstate 235 eastbound in West Des Moines.  The left lane is closed near the 8th Street/73rd Street exit, resulting in a back up of morning rush hour traffic en route downtown Des Moines.  It is unknown when the lane will reopen.
